Assam High Madrassa result declared; 58.18% pass

GUWAHATI: In Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examination, results of which was declared on Wednesday along with the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, Selim Ahmed of Rakhaldubi High Madrassa, Goalpara topped the exam by scoring 561 out of 600 marks.
Abdul Aziz of Pipirakuchi Anchalik High Madrassa brought laurels to Darrang district securing second rank in the AHM examination, while Ilias Ali from Ambari Kartimari High Madrassa, Goalpara stood in the third position.
Total 9,127 students took the AHM exam this year, out of which 5,310 were declared passed. The pass percentage in AHM examination, 2019 was recorded to be 58.18 percent. In AHM examination as well, boys remained ahead of the girls by registering 60.8 pass percentage while the pass percentage of girls was 56.41.
