Augmented Reality Workshop at IISER

PUNE: Augmented Reality workshop will be organized at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research on June 22 and 23 between 10 am and 5pm. The workshop, organized by Science Media Centre at IISER will be carried out by Swapnil Agarkar, Co-founder & CEO at EDU360 Knowledge Solutions Private Limited.
The interested candidates should register themselves online. Registration is free and open until 06 June 2019. List of selected candidates will be displayed on Science Media Centre website of IISER Pune.

‘The workshop on Augmented Reality will be conducted by Swapnil Agarkar, CEO at EDU360 Knowledge Solutions Private Limited. This two days’ workshop will provide basic training in Augmented Reality. Key highlights of the workshop are introduction to AR/VR, set up the AR/VR development environment and making of an AR/VR Android app,’ said official note from IISER.

The official note further said, ‘Science/ Engineering and Technology undergraduates and graduates interested in learning Augmented reality can apply for the workshop. Selected participants will be provided double sharing accommodation and food for the entire duration of the course. Travelling allowance is not included. Participants are expected to stay for the full duration of the programme. It is mandatory for all the participants to attend all sessions. The workshop is supported by IISER Pune, National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science and Technology (DST).’
