NEW DELHI: Barring one exit poll, all the predictions are in favour of the Congress wresting power from the ruling Vasundhara Raje government. The Congress is likely to win a 115 seats in the 199*-seat assembly, the poll of exit polls predicted. The ruling BJP is likely to win on 76 seats. (The half-way mark is 100 seats.)
Here is a look at the prediction of all exit polls-
According to Times Now-CNX, Congress will cross the required majority by five seats. The ruling BJP government won’t be able to retain power and will manage a mere 85 seats, the poll predicted.
C Voter predicts the biggest victory margin for the Congress among all the polls, giving the party 137 seats and the BJP 60.
Axis My India
According to Axis My India, Congress is expected to score a thumping victory in the state by winning 130 seats. The BJP will suffer a massive setback as it secures victory on a mere 64 seats, the poll said. The other political parties are likely to share 6 seats among themselves.
According to NewsX-Neta, the Congress will come to power with 112 seats while the BJP will get 80 seats.
Jan Ki Baat
Only Jan Ki Baat exit poll predicts a neck-and-neck race between the BJP and the Congress in the state. The BJP is likely to win 93 seats compared with 91 seats for the Congress. The exit poll predicts 15 seats for others.
*Polling for Alwar’s Ramgarh assembly seat was deferred following the death of BSP candidate Laxman Singh.
