Vidya Balan has impressed one and all with her power-packed performances in her films and she is all set to do the same all over again with her upcoming film ‘Shakuntala Devi’, where she will be seen playing a Math wizard. Vidya recently unveiled her first look as Shakuntala Devi along with the teaser of the movie. Dressed in a red saree with a printed border and flaunting her short hairdo, Vidya Balan looks identical to the mathematical genius. In the teaser, Vidya shows us how we all start our math journey with basic tables and how Shakuntala Devi started hers with complex mathematical problems.
Ranbir and Katrina reunite
Ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been on good terms, letting bygones be bygones. While their romantic relationship might have ended, fans were eager to watch them together on-screen. Treating fans with their chemistry, Ranbir and Katrina shot for a mobile phone commercial. The ad saw them share a quirky chemistry along with rapper Badshah.
‘Made In China’ trailer
Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy have teamed up for the first time for ‘Made In China’. The makers unveiled the much-awaited trailer of the film, after a series of posters. In the trailer, Rajkummar Rao plays the role of a struggling Gujarati businessman, who in the pursuit of making it big, heads to the neighbouring country and lands Chinese ‘viagra’. He then enters into a partnership with a sexologist in India. The film is helmed by National award winning filmmaker Mikhil Musale and features Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal, Sumeet Vyas and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles.
Alia Bhatt roped in for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai’?
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project ‘Inshallah’ with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt was shelved due to a reported fallout between the director and the actor. Ending all speculations around it, Alia recently confirmed that the film has indeed been shelved but she will definitely be working with the filmmaker. Now, reports are rife that she has been roped in for Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai’. Earlier this year, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had reportedly registered the title Gangubai with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA). It was earlier speculated to star Priyanka Chopra. The film revolves around a brothel owner of Kamathipura, Gangubai. The film will be an adaptation of a chapter from S Husain Zaidi’s ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’.
Sanjay Dutt in ‘Khalnayal’ sequel with Tiger Shroff?
Subhash Ghai’s ‘Khalnayak’ remains to be one of the most popular and critically acclaimed films of Sanjay Dutt. Now, the actor recently revealed that he is planning to make a sequel and has already started the groundwork for the film. The sequel will reportedly kick off with Ballu (Sanjay Dutt) coming out of prison after having served his sentence and meets Ram’s son. While Sanjay will reprise in his role, he stated that he has reached out to Tiger Shroff for a pivotal part in the film. Although Subhash Ghai is yet to sell the sequel rights, Dutt’s spokesperson stated that they have initiated talks with the filmmaker and are hoping to acquire the rights soon.
