Taapsee take a dig at Kangana in latest tweet?

Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar, who will be seen portraying sharpshooters Prakashi and Chandro Tomar in the upcoming film ‘Saand Ki Aankh’, on Thursday shared the first teaser that looked every bit promising.
The film helmed by Tushar Hiranandani, revolves around two grannies – Chandro and Prakashi, who take up shooting at the age of 50 to encourage their daughters to pursue a brighter future that is free of oppression. However, this proves to be the beginning of their success story as they discover their own skills of being exceptional shooters.

The plot follows their rise to clinch about 352 medals each, in the course of their veteran professional lives as shooters.

Impressed with the teaser, several fans of the actresses and film buffs alike, took to social media to applaud the stars and their director for bringing this small-town story to the big screen. One among the many Bollywood stars who praised the film was actor Varun Dhawan.

Taking to Twitter, he said, “Proud of you Tushar. Bringing real Indian heroes on the big screen. Best dadis.”

Lead actress Taapsee took note of the tweet from her former co-star and had an interesting choice of words for the hunk. She said, “Arre Varun but u have not written our names. y no appreciation for us ??? Why why why? (sic)”

Could this be a dig at Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel? Our guess is as good as yours.

For the uninitiated, it was only early this month that Rangoli slammed Varun for not giving Kangana due credit while he was praising the trailer of ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. The actor promptly replied to the tweet saying, “Loving everyone from Satish sir, Hussain, Raj and specially Kangana aur lead cast ka wohi matlab tha maam.”

Taapsee, on the other hand, was slammed by Chandel, who in a series of tweets brought to light a past interview of the actress poking fun at Kangana.

Meanwhile, ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ is scheduled to hit the theatres this Diwali.
