HYDERABAD: As many as 56, 431 second year intermediate students have cleared the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary examination, results of which are declared on Sunday.
Of the 1, 52, 359 general candidates who have had appeared for the exam, 37.76% candidates cleared the test.
Of the passed candidates, a mere 32 candidates secured A grade (greater than equal to 75% marks), 71 secured B grade, 60 secured C grade and 54 students secured D grade marks. A total of 56, 214 candidates were declared compartmental pass.
When compared with last year’s performance, the pass percentage of candidates, who appeared during the regular and supplementary examination, has slightly declined as only 76.59% candidates cleared the test against 78.65% in 2018. In 2017, the figure stood at 77.64%.
The board officials said that students can download their online mark memos from 11 am on Monday from the board’s website bie.telangana.gov.in, tsbie.cgg.gov.in, results.cgg.gov.in among other sites.
“They can see their results today and download the marks. However, the online marks memo in the proper format will be available from Monday,” said A Ashok, secretary of the board.
He said that students can either approach district intermediate education officers or submit their grievances, if any, in online mode.
Candidates who want to get their papers recounted or re-verified should apply by July 20 by paying the prescribed fee.
When it comes to vocational students, as many as 4, 169 students of 8, 128 candidates cleared the examination.
The board officials said that the supplementary results of first-year candidates will be released within a week time.
